BLERG!

I have so much to blog about but alas...

*Sniffle

I'm Sick.
I should leave the post at just that. (but you know me better than that!)
It started with a headache, then a 103 temp. which finally broke and then I couldn't get my clothes off fast enough- sweat ugh! (although in regular day vernacular a woman who couldn't get her clothes off fast enough would be quite the draw of the males! But not so much when your sick.)
It has now settled into my head. I suppose I could be happy that I wasn't hacking up a lung- but to me, my head is everything. I think with my head. My rationale has gone out the window. I find myself yelling because I can't even hear what I am saying- which in turn makes my family scream back and then we all get confused at why we are all screaming in the first place! I can barely swallow, thanks to the fabulous post nasal drip action going on. I did invest in a humidifier which, according to all, is the best thing ever when your sick. The humming machine, while as soothing as it sounded, didn't seem to do much for me- But that could also be due to the fact that it was the longest night ever! I finally fell asleep and then woke up feeling like I had been asleep for hours only to find that 10 mins had lapsed. Ridiculous. Granted if it was back in the days when I was twinless I would have guzzled down the Nyquil and slept like a wee bab- But for fear I wouldn't hear them get up and for some reason I am deathly afraid of SIDS so I check on them frequently anyways no drowsy medications for me. So... There it is. My cold. Drawn out like they always are. But I will stop venting for now because there are so many people out there that have it way worse than just a head cold that I almost feel embarrassed to be throwing myself a pity party. Until next time.... *ACHOOO

I'm sorry you're sick. That is no fun at all. I know just how you feel about the nyquil too. I haven't had any since my girls were born, I am so afraid I won't wake up and there will be some sort of disaster. Hope you feel better soon.

Feel free to have a little party. It is totally allowed. You ar a good mom to check and be so careful. Maybe hubby could do it for one night so you can sleep. You need your rest. Then again if I trusted my hubby to do this he would forget to wake up and check.I would wake up anywy and we would both be sleep deprived.
I wondered if you were sick I was beginning to worry. Hope you get well soon.

I'd bring you some good soup, but alas -no can do - even if we lived next door - I think I'd be dying this week too - I would have borrowed your WII & watched your kids though.
Feel better woman!
